Description

OMEGA’s PX81 Series wet/wet, differential pressure transducer is a compact, high accuracy transducer designed for industrial applications where low drift and long term reliability are important. Its low temperature compensation error minimizes errors due to changing process temperatures and the rugged all stainless steel construction allows the PX81 to withstand typical harsh industrial environments found in chemical and industrial plants.

Can these sensors operate in a space (vacuum) environment? Are they compatible with hydrazine (N2H4)?

Asked by: Greg 1
The wetted parts of this pressure sensor are 17-4ph stainless steel. We have been unable to locate any information of the compatibility of this material with hydrazine. The construction of the sensor should be compatible with a vacuum environment.

What gauge pressure (relative to atmosphere) are these rated for? Presumably this rating is separate from the sensor's differential pressure rating.

Asked by: Nathan_from_Colorado
Thank you for your inquiry, the differential pressure sensor is a gauge sensor that’s used to identify the difference between the two separate physical areas.
