OMEGALAQ™ Liquid LAQ Series uses the same material as used in OMEGAMARKER™ in lacquer suspension. Lacquer serves a transport function only. OMEGALAQ™ may be thinned to ensure workable consistency. Thinning OMEGALAQ™ will not affect its accuracy. Order GREEN LABEL THINNER.

To use, simply shake or stir to a uniform consistency and apply a thin smear to the working surface before heating begins. It dries almost instantly to a mark. When the stated temperature is reached on subsequent heating, this mark liquifies sharply. A melted OMEGALAQ™ coating does not revert to its original dull-opaque appearance but remains glossytransparent which makes subsequent interpretation a simple matter.

Dear Sir, Can I apply OMEGALAQ on Aluminum surfaces and perform the measurements under water? Thanks for your answer.

Asked by: Stef
Thank you for your inquiry. This product is designed to be applied and used on dry surface applications only, and will not properly work if submersed in water since it is a melting point standard.

Can this be cleaned off of metal after application and subsequent triggering, such that a new mark could be applied in the same location? If so, what is a suitable solvent or cleaner?

Asked by: mech_egr
Thank you for your inquiry. We suggest using an alcohol swab to remove the residue from any metal surface including Stainless Steel.
