I bought one (TSW-TD-1c-250R/WL) for the purpose of regulating temperature in a heated stainless cabinet. I installed it and the temperature went high to 170 degrees C; it did not shut off. Is this intended for installing in a liquid piping?
Hi Martin
This switch will activate on rising temperature at 250 F. It both NO and NC contacts. NO, black to red, will read closed when above the set point. The NC, black to blue, will read open above the set point.
This is designed for liquid applications. Perhaps the unit is mounted where and air-pocket forms in the pipe.
Best regards
OMEGA
