Les rubans standard sont fabriqués à partir de fils de résistance très fins et toronnés, avec double isolation au Samox tressé et cousus en rubans plats pour une souplesse optimale.
Un ruban à isolation renforcée est obtenu en prenant un ruban standard et en le tressant entre plusieurs couches de brins de Samox. Les rubans larges sont obtenus à partir de deux rubans standard ou plus, cousus entre deux couches de tissu de Samox.

Éléments chauffants : fil de résistance toronné de calibre 36-40
Éléments chauffants isolés : Samox en double tresse
Rigidité diélectrique : supérieure à 2 000 V
Fils conducteurs : ils sortent des extrémités opposées de la fiche séparée entièrement moulée en sections distinctes. La température maximale des fils conducteurs est de 260 °C (500 °F).

The only way to make a permanent seal is with heat...we could not find a more effective product with awesome heat conduction for this purpose. It works like magic.

Is 1400F (760C) mean reusable temperature or one-time?

The Heater tape will have to be attached to a Thermally Conductive surface across it's full length. What temperature that can be reached will depend on the Thermal mass and the Wattage of the specific Heater Tape. Once in place it is best to leave it in place as there will be some embrittlement. Running the Heater at full Voltage and power will reduce its expected useful life.

Can Ultra-High Temperature Heating Tape be used to heat a pipe will be buried under ground?

The Ultra-High Heating tape is not recommended for underground or wet environments. Look at self regulating or constant Wattage Heater tapes as a possible alternative.

What is a reliable temperature controller to use with heating tapes (Heating Tape STH051-080 for example? I am currently using an obsolete CN 9111A controller. These controllers worked fine but did not last very long (Mechanical relay and not SSR).

Hello! what is the difference between 120 or 240 volts? the size of the wire or its just the 240 volts does not come with a connector (model SST051-040) THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME

Is the fiberglass insulation enough to prevent electrical shorting on conductive surfaces?

The Fiberglass insulation on the STH and SWH models provides the electrical insulation needed to be able to be use them on conductive surfaces.
