Rated 4 out of 5 by from It worked. Standard Type K thermocouple, worked to replace one in a small kiln. The spring on the back, while a reasonable feature to prevent damage at the end of the thermocouple made it too long to fit properly. A bit of trimming fixed the problem.

What is the output of this sensor? Voltage or resistance change? Thanks.

This sensor produces millivolt output however resistance also varies based on ohms law.
