Description

Les sondes à jonction renforcée OMEGA™ offrent une solution de raccordement pratique aux fils recouverts de PFA. La longueur de la jonction et du ressort de réduction de contrainte est de 66 mm (2.6"). Le diameter de la jonction de transition est de 1/4" pour les sondes de 1/16 et 1/8" de diamètre et de 3/8" pour les sondes de 3/16 et 1/4" de diamètre.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Functional yes but improvement possibility Ordered a SS k-type first but had some oxidation on probe. Followed up with a CAXL k-type and still have oxidation on probe. Both were used in the same SS protection tube. Ambient is a O2 rich environment using gas heated from 500 to 1700F. Not sure if exotic T/Cs would be a better choice.

While the measurement point measures 1000 degrees, can there be a heat transfer to the transient point? In transient point, are there any protection for this?

Hi Gull, Thank you for this inquiry. There is no protection built in for the transition point. Alternate is to provide enough length for the sheath so that heat transfer across the tubing is small enough to be safe. Best regards OMEGA
