Designed for long-term water billing applications, the FTB4600 series of flowmeters are highly accurate and feature a high frequency pulse output suitable for remote flowrate indication or flow totalization. For economy, they have no local indication of the flowrate or total. The pulse output is compatible with OMEGA’s DPF400 and DPF700 series ratemeter/totalizers. All meters include built-in strainers, locking nuts, gaskets, coupling pieces, and 1.5 m (5') of 3-conductor copper wire.

   <10% of continuous flow: 2% of rate
Fluid Temperature Range: 0 to 88°C (32 to 190°F)
Wetted Parts: Nickle Plated Brass body, stainless steel, polyimide (fiberglass), polypropylene, EPDM O-ring
Pressure Drop (at cont. flow rate): 2.9 psid
Max. Pressure: 150 psig
Pulse Output: Requires 6 to 16 Vdc @ 10 mA max. power; output requires pull-up to positive dc voltage. Includes 1.5 m (5') of cable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Reliable, usually I've used these meters for years with generally good results. However, in the last year I have had to return two of them because the solid-state pulse module was bad; one after 2 weeks and one right out of the box. The pulse module snaps off the meter easily, but unfortunately Omega does not sell the module separately so you have to replace the whole meter.

Well I know these work, because I've used them before - the issue is that OMEGA has failed miserably in delivering my last order of these flow meters. They have ONE person covering ALL of the service request inquiries. This person is hopelessly overwhelmed by the large number of phone, email, skype requests for help that come in every day. It makes Omega's claim about being all about service a complete farce. Meanwhile I wait and hope that my prepaid order for the flowmeters eventually gets sorted out and sent to me.,,

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bad Sensor About 30% failure rate with quality decreasing every time I purchase. My suggestion is to buy extra or find an alternative. The problem is the sensor. The rest of the flow meter is solid. Having an affordable replenishment cap (sensor housing) would be great.

My installation instructions for FTB4607 says it will take input voltage of 3.5V - 20V @ 20mA, but the web site says 6-16V. Which is accurate? I would *really* like to run the meter on 5V power. Thank you!

Do you have CAD or drawings available for the FTB4607 Water Meter?

Thank you for your inquiry in regard to the flow meter. Unfortunately, Omega does not provide CAD files for our products. General dimensions are available at best on the data sheet or manual.
