Product Specs

DPG101 is an electronic digital pressure gauge used to monitor hydraulic fluids. It monitors the pressure via the resistance measured on an isolation membrane. The output signal is amplified by a high-precision, low-temperature drift amplifier. The signal is then fed into a high accuracy A/D converter for the microprocessor to process and then show on the LED display.

This flexible, simple to operate digital pressure gauge is safe, reliable, and easy to maintain. The DPG101 is widely used in hydro-power, water, petroleum, chemical, mechanical, hydraulic, and other industries.

Display Units: Gauge can be factory scaled to any engineering unit such as psi, kPa, bar, mbar, inHg, inH2O, mmHg, ftH2O, torr, kg/cm3
Measuring Range: -0.1 to 35 MPa (-14.50 to 5000 psi)
Display Type: 4-digit LED
Accuracy: 0.25% FS for gauge pressure >5psi
±0.5% FS for all others including absolute, compound gauge, and Vacuum ranges
Power: 85 to 265 Vac
Stability: <0.1% FS per year
Case Protection: IP65
Operating Temperature: -30 to 80ºC (-22 to 176ºF)
Operating Humidity: <90%
Media Temperature Limits: -40 to 150ºC (-40 to 302ºF) [equip with cooling element accessory if media temperature is greater than 80ºC (176ºF)]
Overpressure Limits: 3x rated pressure below 60 psi 2x rated pressure from 100 psi to 1000 psi 1.5 x rated pressure over 1000 psi
Process Connection: ¼" NPT, others consult Omega
Wetted Parts: 316 SS threads, NBR O-ring
Storage Temperature: -20 to 70ºC (-4 to 160ºF), less than 80% relative humidity

It says it has 4-20mA, but there is no connector or wires on the outside of the case. How do I get the 4-20mA out for logging?

I also have the same problem that the unit comes with only two wires. I open the unit and found that it is easy to change the 2-wired cable into a 4-wired cable. The terminal for soldering the current output line is label clearly as "MAOUT" at the far left of the circuit board. The ground line labelled as "GND" is right next to it. You have to find a 4-wired cable that is the right size for this job. I think the reason OMEGA shipped the unit with two wire is to prevent user from accidentally connecting the current output line to 220 V line and damage the unit. But if you connect it yourself, you take all the risk. By the way, the unit works well with 120 V AC.

According to the "Product Details" the Power Supply for this gauge is 85-240VAC; however, according to the "Manual" M5702/1218, the power supply is 220VAC. Can you please confirm the power supply requirements?

Asked by: Logan
Well, after purchasing this gauge and wiring it for 115VAC it works just fine, soooo.... looks like the product details are correct!
