Solid thermocouple
So far so good with this thermocouple. One recommendation I do have, double/triple check the connector before ordering. I thought I ordered the right one, but ended up having to order a replacement. Top to Omega, add images of the termination chosen to the spec wizard.

Does a thermocouple that is designed to be bolted to a surface measure the environment very well? I want to measure the temperature of the air using a similar thermocouple
Thank you for your inquiry C James. You can use a Bolt-On Thermocouple to take air temperature measurements.

Does the 0°F lower process limit apply to thermocouple types other than type J? (e.g. can a type T version of the 'WT' sensor accurately measure temperatures below 0°F?)
Thank you for your inquiry. We do not state an accuracy for SLE Wire-Made Products below 0°C (32°F). Can they measure below 0°C? The answer is YES, however, accuracy shows it is no longer linear. If you want an accuracy for a SLE Product we suggest that you get a CAL-4 Calibration Report at an additional cost for temperatures below 0°C.
