Description

The CMC and CPC Series coded non-contact safetyswitches with compact slim fitting housing have beendesigned to enable the conformance to EN60947-5-3and be used as directed by ISO12100, ISO14121 andEN60204-1. They have coded magnetic sensing whichprovides a wide sensing distance and provides a hightolerance to misalignment after sensing. They can befitted behind stainless steel fittings and can operatefrom 4 directions even in extreme environments oftemperature and moisture. When used in combinationwith most dual channel safety monitoring relays theycan be used to provide up to PLe to ISO13849-1.

CMC and CPC Series coded non-contact safetyswitches are designed to interlock hinged, sliding orremovable guard doors. CMC Series stainless steelsafety switches have been designed for use in thepharmaceutical and fold processing industries. CPCSeries switches are suitable for all industry applications.

They are specifically advantageous when:
     Poor guard alignment exists
     Anti tamper sensing is required
     High hygiene requirements exist, e.g. food industryhose down
     Long life is required (no moving or touching parts)
     LED status indication is desirable
