The LMR and LPR Series magnetic non-contactsafety switches with European industry standard fittinghave been designed to enable the conformance toEN60947-5-3 and be used as directed by ISO12100,ISO14121 and EN60204-1. They have magneticsensing which provides a wide sensing distanceand provides a high tolerance to misalignment aftersensing. They can operate from 4 directions even inextreme environments of temperature and moisture. They have volt free high power switching capabilityand can be used independently to switch low riskapplications or connect to a safety relay to providehigher safety levels. When used in combination withmost dual channel safety monitoring relays they canbe used to provide up to PLe/Category 4 to ISO13849-1.
LMR and LPR Series magnetic non-contact safetyswitches are designed to interlock hinged, sliding orremovable guard doors. LMR Series stainless steelsafety switches have been designed for applications inthe food processing, pharmaceutical, packaging andpetrochemical industries. LPR Series switches havebeen developed for applications in general factoryautomation, packaging and some food processingindustries.
They are specifically advantageous when:     • Poor guard alignment exists and a wide toleranceto misalignment is required     • High levels of hygiene is a requirement, e.g. highpressure chemical or water hosing in the food industry environment     • Environments where high switching capacity is arequirement
