The new OM-CP-RTDTempX Series consists of 4, 8, 12 and 16-channel RTD Temperature data logger with a reading rate of up to 4 Hz. X-Series devices ship with a standard USB-A to Micro USB cable for use with free OM-CP PC based software. The X-series has a high memory capacity and increased download speed compared to previous generations of product.
To maximize memory capacity, users can enable or disable channels. For easy identification, each channel can be named with up to a ten digit title.
Using the OM-CP Data Logger Software, starting, stopping and downloading from the OM-CP-RTDTempX Series data loggers is simple and easy. Graphical, tabular and statistical data is provided for analysis and data can be viewed in multiple units, using the Engineering Units function. The data can also be automatically exported to Excel® for further calculations.
* Temperature specifications based on ideal 100 Ω Pt RTD compliant with IEC 751 (1983) and ITS-90, 5000 Ω FSR (accuracy based on 36 inch lead wire RTD with4 wire configuration)

Follow up to the question about reading temperature information on demand: can I read temperatures into LabVIEW in real time using the GUI software?

Is it possible to control the logger remotely using a computer? I would like to retrieve temperature information on demand, independent of the GUI software.
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, the software is required to retrieve data from the logger via PC usb port.

How does the Max sample rate (up to 4 Hz) relate to the number of channels in use? Is it fmax/Nchannel such that for 16 channels the rate at which you sample each channel would be 4/16 Hz?
When you set the reading rate (in this case 4Hz), the channels would all be set to a reading interval of 4Hz.
The reading rate will not divide depending on number of channels used, though just to advise they will all be reading at the same interval, you cannot adjust each channel to a different recording interval.

Is it possible to get the RTD sensors calibrated with this device under Singapore Standard SS 591: 2013. That is, we want to get to the highest accuracy (±0.04 °C) and calibrated sensors.
Hello and thank you for your question. Unfortunately we don't provide that kind of calibration service. The logger already includes a calibration that is traceable to NIST with ±0.04 °C accuracy.
