Description

Les débitmètres FMA-1600 et FVL-1600 utilisent deux des propriétés des gaz les mieux connues pour effectuer la mesure du débit : la pression et la viscosité. La mesure de la pression différentielle dans une zone de flux laminaire permet d'obtenir une gamme de débit de 100 :1, avec un choix de débits maximum de 0,5cm³/mn à 1m³/mn (multiples de 1, 2, 5). Ces instruments robustes, précis et économique sont réalisés avec des pièces conçues pour le flux laminaire, sans pièce mobile et des circuits électroniques performants.

Les débitmètres massiques FMA-1600 “NON-THERMIQUES” réalisent leur mesure à partir de capteurs de pression différentielle, de pression absolue et de température situés dans la zone de flux laminaire. Le microprocesseur intégré permet le calcul de débit normal STP avec une compensation de température et de pression pour les conditions normales (1 atmosphère, 25°C). Les FMA1600 ne sont pas affectés par les problèmes liés à l'inertie thermique puisqu'ils n'utilisent pas de “fil chaud”. Le temps de réponse est réglable à partir de 10 ms. Les débitmètres volumétriques FVL-1600 sont adaptés aux applications à une pression proche de l'atmosphérique ou à pression absolue faible.

Le débit volumétrique est déterminé à l'aide de la baisse de pression créée par une restriction appelé "élément de flux laminaire" Cette restriction est conçue de sorte que le flux laminaire du gaz ne soit pas perturbé sur l'étendue totale de fonctionnement du débitmètre. Le flux laminaire étant maintenu dans le corps du débitmètre, il n'est généralement pas nécessaire de prévoir des sections droites avant et après le débitmètre. Et la relation entre la baisse de pression et le débit reste linéaire.

Le calcul du débit
Le principe de fonctionnement de ces débitmètres repose sur la loi de Poiseuille:
Q = (P 1 -P 2 )¹r 4 /8hL (Equation 1)
où: Q = débit volumétrique P 1 = pression statique amont P 2 = pression statique aval r = rayon de la restriction h = (eta) viscosité absolue du gaz L = longueur de la restriction. Puisque p, r et L sont des constantes; l'équation 1 peut s'écrire: Q = K (ÆP/h) (Equation 2) où K est une constante déterminée par la forme de la restriction. L'équation 2 donne la relation linéaire simple entre le débit (Q), la pression différentielle (DP) et la viscosité absolue (h).

Construction des débitmètres
Tous les débitmètres sont équipés de raccords femelles NPT. Ils sont insensibles à l'orientation de la canalisation sur laquelle ils sont montés. Ces raccords sont de même taille et alignés. Les pièces en contact avec les gaz sont réalisées dans les matériaux suivants : aluminium anodisé, acier inoxydable 303 et 302, FKM, Silicone RTV et nylon chargé de verre

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 2 units defective out of box The negative terminal was shorted to the body of the sensor and would not work unless the sensor was installed isolated from ground, which we couldn't do in our application. They are easy to disassemble, and the problem was obvious, as one of the wires that connects to the terminal extended about 1/2" past the point that it was soldered at, so the bare wire came into contact with the body of the sensor when it was assembled.

Can the FMA-1612A be used in vacuum systems with air? Do you have CAD files (ideally Inventor) of the meter's external dimensions?

What are the voltage levels of the RS232 signals? -12V to +12V?

Item# FMA-1621A-I2- I would like to purchase this, can you verify how many decimals places the readout will be. I see the range is 0 to 1500SLPM. I need at least one decimal places. How many decimal places are the readings?

Hello, If our desired maximum flow rate is 3000 SLM but pressure is 100 psi (actual LM much lower), is this still the correct instrument to buy? Is the 0.8% accuracy relative to the maximum flow rate or is it a % of the flow rat being read?

Thank you for your inquiry about the mass flow meter. Yes, this series has a flwo meter with a maximum flow capacity of 3000 LPM and the accuracy is percent flow rate reading, not of full scale in other mass flow meters.

Thank you for your inquiry about this flow meter. You can have the display read in true mass flow, if you need a totalizer, that is an option, ('-TOT'), which will be in total mass.
