Features

The FSV10 Series electronic proportioning solenoid valves can control the flow of a wide variety of gases and liquids. The variablestroke electromagnetic valve is pulsed by the driver electronics, maintaining the correct magnetic flux level in the solenoid and holding flow at the level of the analog input setpoint signal. A TTL-level input allows the valve to be shut off regardless of analog setpoint signal.
The output power level of the driver electronics is jumper selectable for cooler, more efficient operation. The FSV10 Series requires 12 to 30 Vdc, supplied by the optional FSV-PW 110 Vac plug-in power supply or via the 9-pin D connector (included). These valves come with 8 inches of wire, which must be soldered to the 9-pin D connector.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not work with a water application., Device only controlled between 9.5 and 11.2 ma. otherwise it was either no flow, or sporadic flow outside of the range. Within the 9.5 to 11 ma there was no consistency. I was told by technical support that's normal. They would not take it back. My application was 175 to 300 psi H20 metering the flow between 40 and 110 ccm. I would not recommend this product.

What is the required gas filtration upstream of the valve (i.e. allowable particulates)?

Asked by: Michael82
Thank you for your inquiry. A recommended filter for the electronic valve is 20 to 50 microns

Can the valve be driven directly using a PWM signal instead of using the driver electronics? We are looking to replace an existing PWM driven valve (1Hz) and must have a drop-in replacement. Thanks!

Asked by: PD Engineer
Thank you for your inquiry! Unfortunately, this valve can not be driven directly using a PWM signal
