Incorrect Part & Extra Costs Due to Website Error
Issue with Order: We experienced a significant issue with our order due to an error in the website's part identification system. This error led to the receipt of an incorrect part, which was not only inconvenient but also added unnecessary costs to our project.
Cost Impact: The mistake resulted in an additional expense of $300 over our original budget. This overcharge was a direct consequence of the website error, placing an unforeseen financial burden on our project.
Incorrect Part Received: Instead of the PigTail part we initially ordered, we received a connector. This mix-up was further complicated when the representative provided us with the wrong part number during our attempt to resolve the issue.
Overall Experience: The combination of the website's identification error, the additional costs, and the receipt of the wrong part has been highly disappointing. It has caused delays and financial strain on our project, which could have been avoided with a more accurate and reliable ordering system.
Recommendation for Improvement: We urge the supplier to review and improve their website's part identification process to prevent such errors in the future. Clearer communication and more accurate assistance from customer service representatives would also be beneficial.

My lab apparatus, including a stirrer, motor and measuring equipment (sensors) weighs about 50 - 60 kg. The mass of feed material (plastic and sand) is about 200 g. I want to measure the mass drop (1 g or less) as vapor forms. Would that be possible?

Is this load cell compatible with a National Instruments chassis? Does this load cell require a special DAC?
This load has an internal 3mV/V sensitivity full strain gage bridge. NI offers input boards designed to take this type of input. We do not know the exact model number of this input board so you have to check with NI directly

I want to replace a LCCA-3K using a DP41-s display. Is the LC103B-3K compatable with the DP41-s display. IS the LC103B a direct replacment for th eLCCA-3k S beam load cell?
The LC103B-3K is compatible with the DP41-S. Functionally the LCCA-3K and LC103B-3K are the same. Physically they are dimensionally different. The LCCA-3K is 3.00" High x 0.75" Wide x 2.00" Deep. The LC103B-3K is 3.90" High x 1.09" Wide x 3.00" Deep. They both have the same thread connections of 1/2-20UNF

Can I extend the wires on the load cell if needed? I'm assuming I will need to re-calibrate the load cell but once that's done, will it work properlly? I am looking to extend it from 20 feet to 90 feet, would that be too long? Thanks!

Are the threads on the LC103B-100 Load Cell right handed threads on both sides of the load cell? I just want to make sure it isn't like a turn buckle where there is a left handed thread on one side and a right handed thread on the other side.

LC103B-10K can measure up 10,000 lbf in either tension or compression. It is however only calibrated in tension. The output signal in compression would be a mirror image

This load cell claims tension and/or compression loading possible. Does it come calibrated in both tension and compression? Or do you have to request one or the other? Can you please send me an example of the calibration certificate that comes with it?

I'm looking at using this as a load cell. Do I need anything else (like a display), or is this an all-in-one unit?
This is just a sensor. You need to both apply power to it and read the output signal. There are several ways to do this but the most common would be to use something like our DP8PT displays. This unit would both supply power to load cell and display a reading of the force directly in whatever units of measure you require.

Would the torque affect the reading of the force? My intention for using this sensor is that to place the grooved plate with countersink screws on both sides to fix and measure the compression force.
