Description

The new MWTC Smart Wireless Connector Series features a compact, battery powered thermocouple connector that can transmit and/or record temperature data back to a mating receiver up to 90m (300') away. During the initial set-up, the connector can be set to transmit, transmit and record, or record only at a pre-set time interval. The recording can begin either at power up, or at a pre-set time and date. Multiple wireless connectors (up to 48 channels) can transmit to one MWTC-REC receiver. Stored data can be easily downloaded to a PC via direct USB connection. The user can record either 65,400 process temperature data points, or 32,700 process and ambient temperature data ppoints.

Does the internal data logging have a sample rate faster than 1 each second? We need a 1 sec sample rate.

Asked by: Anonymous
Thank you for your question. The internal logging intervals are 2 to 120 sec, set via configuration software

I have the HH-309A temp mapping tool, it was working while I was running on windows 7 but not that I am running windows 10 the tool no longer shows a connection to the computer. Is there another program that I need to download?

Asked by: Scott White
Scott, The problem is the driver. Not the program. I have the HH-309A as well and the communication to the unit stopped working with Windows 10. Luckily Windows 10 identifies my USB to serial cable (labeled USB-300 by Omega) as: - CP2102 USB to UART serial connection. But the provided driver by Microsoft did not work... nor the original driver by Omega. I found the Silicon Labs CP210x driver to USB connection in this site: https://www.pololu.com/docs/0J7/all#2 I installed the X64 bit version of it and it now shows in the Windows Device Manager under Port (COM & LPT) as: Silicon Labs CP210x USB to UART Bridge (COM1) I re-installed the SE309 Software from the original mini-CD disk that came with the HH-309A unit and everything is now working perfect. Home this helped. Adrian Crisci
