"Narrow beam with adjustments to optimize performance". What does this mean?

Thank you for your inquiry. You can reduce the starting gain from the maximum 15 dB, which reduces the width of the most sensitive area in front of the sensor and removes the early sensitivity of the gain curve. It is changed on the Measure window under the Advanced button.
