The DPG210 features a large 55x55 mm (2.1'x2.1') LCD screen, with 5 digit 17mm primary and 13.5mm auxiliary lines. It displays both the current pressure as well as the local temperature, maximum, or minimum pressures from the reference data. Powerful functions: include 10 common pressure units and flexible power supplied by either three AA batteries or via USB connection.
An ultra-low power consumption design allows the DPG210 to run more than 3600 hours when powered by three standard alkaline AA batteries. The DPG210 is an all digital design combining a high precision ADC and high-speed microprocessor. This provides a product that is high precision, with good stability and great shock resistance.
5-point NIST calibration certificate is available and can be added to each unit for an additional cost of $150 by contacting sales. Add “-CAL-3” to the end of the part number for “NIST” option.

Good looking product, but lacks some servicability
The gauge was in-stock and comes in very nice plastic case and includes a UBS power cord for an alternate power source. It does not come with a calibration certificate, but that can be purchased for an extra cost.
The temperature display is degrees C and can not be changed to degrees F. The owners manual does not provide calibration adjustment instructions, and Omega tech support said the gauge would have to be returned to their factory for adjustment, if necessary.
I did not use the gauge and returned it to Omega. A gauge of this accuracy should come with a calibration certificate and allow for adjustment, if necessary, when it is re-calibrated.

Quality product
This pressure gauge was purchased per the request of our applications department for internal experimentation for leak testing medical devices. The gauge was well made, easy to use and met our expectations on performance. We would purchase this again if the need arose.

What is the Max. allowable process fluid temperature?
Operating Temperature: -10 to 50 ? (14 to 120F)
Compensation Temperature: 0 ~40 ? (32 to 104F)

Is the temperature the local process temperature, or the local ambient temperature? Where is the sensor?
Kurth,
The display will show the ambient temperature that is being read. You will not read the media temperature.
Thank you,

Does the DPG210-300G model have a serial number? I received a pressure gauge we recently purchased and am unable to locate one on the device.
Yes there is a serial number. You need to black rubber boot the surrounds the gauge casing. You'll find a label on the top of the casing that indicated the model and serial#

Where is the temperature sensor located? Does it measure the temperature inside or outside a closed pressure system?
The temperature displayed on the gauge is the temperature of the environment the gauge is in. The units of measure is in degrees C. Cannot be set degrees F

Is this series available with a NIST traceable cal cert?
Thank you for your question! We do offer this with a NIST calibration but it is a modified part number and pricing, feel free to put in a ticket to get a quote!

Can you provide a CAD model of this Gauge?
Thank you for your question?
At this time Omega does not have CAD drawings for these part.
Hope this was helpful?

What thread type/size is the connection? Is inches w.c. one of the unit options.
The process connection is a 1/4-18 NPT male thread. There is no inches wc units on the gauge

What's the difference between accuracy value and accuracy class?
Accuracy Class is just a catagory on our website the groups products in certain accuracy range. The important number is the accuracy value which is the actual rated accuracy of the particular product you are looking at.

How can this replace the DPG4000 if it has no communication capabilities? From what I read the USB can only be used to power device.
Hugo, this model is comparable to the DPG4000 in terms of accuracy, if you want a USB output please consider the DPG409 model

Does this model only accept power via USB, or is it able to communicate data as well?
Dear acfSDS, Thank you for contacting Omega Engineering. This gauge does not have USB communication.

Do any of the gauges record/show peak pressure? I am doing burst testing and and I would like to check the gauge after the test is complete to see the burst pressure.
Hello,
This gauge does have a min max function but this unit is not good for measuring a dynamic event like burst. It will damage the unit by rupturing the diaphragm.
Thank you
