Great for the moneyI have used Omega products for many years. I am retired and wanted a good hand held thermometer at a reasonable price. This fits the bill for me.
The unit is right sized with an easy to read display. The thermocouple type on the display is small and difficult to read. Fortunately, you don't do this often. The instructions are not complicated.
Omega offers a wide range of probe configurations so you can purchase one in stock or customize one for your needs.
Both the unit and probe were well packed for shipment.
The first thing I did when I received it was to check the accuracy. I did this with a simple ice bath. The reading was within 0.1 Deg. F. Well within stated accuracy. I have found this to be true of other Omega products, also.
