Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good, but fragile The first one i bought became intermittent after a couple weeks of use. It has a couple of shallow clamp marks from the pass thru fitting and a slight bend to it, but it seems that was enough to do it in. Bought another and was particularly careful with it, finished testing, still good. Accurate and responsive, but fragile.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Probe Probe is working great if not bumped against hard object, or terminals soldering is bad to inside the connector. I am not letting anybody else to use that probe to avoid unnecessary breakage and replacement. It is so delicate. Some of them are working great for a long time. Some do not stand to the next calibration date.

I purchased 5 of RTDs PR-11-2-100-1/8-6-E. The temperature readings were 5-9 degC out when connected to CS8DPT controller. Are these RTD need to be calibrated separately? what are Calibration options? calibration frequency?

Hi, is this product's probe waterproof?

Asked by: ahnka
Thank you for your inquiry ahnka. Yes, only the sheath itself is waterproof. The transition joint is not waterproof.

What is the tolerance on the sheath outer diameter? I have PR-11-2-100-1/16-6-E and it will be inserted in stainless steel 316 with hole at 0.066" hole +/- 0.005". With calipers I get 0.063" consistently along probe length.

Asked by: Nando
Thank you for your inquiry. The sheath tolerance for a 1/16" diameter probe is ±0.001.

I configured an RTD and this is the part number the configurator gave me PR-11-2-100-1-8-4-E-SB-120. What does the -SB mean?

Asked by: markgold
This means the Steel Braid additional feature. Please feel free to contact our Tech Support any time if you have any further questions. Thank you!

Two questions: 1) Are these compatible with Swagelok compression fittings (on the probe)? 2) Are these bendable at all (even 5-10 deg)?

Asked by: SwagelokFan
Thank you for your inquiry SwagelokFan. For the compression fitting to work with the probe the inner diameter of the fitting must match the diameter of the probe. Unfortunately, they are not bendable.
