IS UHFS-09 good for outdoor measurements? Does it measure total heat flux, i.e., conduction plus convection plus radiation?
Hi A_V_
Thank you for the inquiry. UHFS-09 has water proof construction for durability in wet/splashing condition. The black surface provides for heat flux due to convection and radiation sources.
Best regards,
Omega

If I need to calculate the total heat power through HFS-5, should I multiply the measured heat flux with sensor area (6.5cm2) or total area (9.2cm2)?
Hi Han2021
Thank you for the inquiry. Please forward this question to TEMP@OMEGA.CON.

What is the maximum sampling rate for the HFS-5?
Hi Trevor C
Thank you for the inquiry. Sample rate would be determined by the instrumentation used. Response time of the sensor is 0.6 seconds as noted on the data sheet.
Best regards

What is the output voltage range for HFS5?
Hi Daniel18
Just under 1 mv at max heat flux. You'll need a meter with micro volt level resolution.
